In many ayurvedic medicines, hibiscus leaves have been used for their various health benefits sucha as weight loss and blood pressure management, irritated stomach, bacterial infections or constipation.
– 48 ounces water
– Hibiscus flowers (3 tablespoons)
– 2 cinnamon sticks
– 1/8 cup sugar
– 1 small sliced orange
– 4 lemon wedge
Bring water to boil, turn off heat add the cinnamon sticks and the hibiscus flowers. Cover and steep for 20 min. Serve Warm!
Add sugar and orange slices and serve over ice. Garnish each glass with a lemon slice .
